Barter Auction is an application through which the members of the Barter System can present their offers by way of auction. Each member of Turk Barter with a TurkBarterGoldCard can have access to this division and present their offers for products put on sale in different categories. Members are informed about the initiation of the Barter Auction via e-mail. In general, it is held twice a week. However products in some categories are put up for sale through daily auction organizations.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS FOR BARTER AUCTION
In order to participate in Barter Auction as either seller or buyer, you need to primarily be a member of our Barter System.
The Seller guarantees the existence of the products he puts up for sale in the Barter Auction.
The Seller can not change the characteristics of the products he puts up for sale in Barter Auction.
The Seller may specify a Reserve Price for the product he puts up for sale in Barter Auction.
The Reserve Price means the minimum price the seller wants to charge for his product. In case offers made in Barter Auction do not reach the Reserve Price, it is up to the seller to sell the product or not. That is, the Seller can also sell his product below the Reserve Price.
In case the Seller gives up selling the product he puts up for sale in the Barter Auction, he accepts to pay in cash 5 percent of the Opening Price value to the Turk Barter.
Turk Barter can not guarantee the sale of the product to a member who applies to Barter Auction for the sale of his product.
When necessary, Turk Barter takes delivery of the seller’s product before it is presented to the Barter Auction.
In order to present real estates to Barter Auction, it is compulsory to deliver certificate of ownership and expertise reports to Turk Barter.
Products presented to Barter Auction are sold through 100% Barter.
No matter what the member seller company selects in the Turk Barter Member Information Form, the commission rate in the Barter Auction Sales operation is accrued as 5 % Cash + VAT.
Turk Barter is not responsible towards other users and 3rd parties for the attitudes of those buyers and sellers who fail to fulfill their obligations.
When you give the highest offer for a product put up for sale in Barter Auction, your company information are relayed to the seller.
Giving an offer to Barter Auction means signing a contract with the seller.
The buyer must purchase the product for which he gives an offer. In case he gives up, he pays 3 percent of the offer value to Turk Barter in cash and the buyer second in rank gets the right to purchase.
The offer to Buy is submitted only via Barter Auction over the Internet. Offers are not accepted by letter, mail or telephone.
The Member firm accepts the accuracy of the offer he gives to Barter Auction and that the password is not in use by someone else.
In case an official or private person applies to Barter Auction due to the actions of buyer or seller, the losses Turk Barter incurred or will incur due to them will be immediately compensated by the seller or buyer in question.
For the delivery of the products buyers have the right to purchase, the buyer needs to get in contact with the seller and make the necessary contracts with the seller within 3 working days following the closure of the Barter Auction. For products whose delivery transactions are not completed within 10 days, the buyer firm is deemed to give up his offer and Article 3 of these rules are applied.
The member, who gains the right to buy a product via Barter Auction, is obliged to pay the taxes likely to occur due to the purchase and, if there are any, fulfill other responsibilities specified during the session. A member who fails to fulfill his responsibilities about the product in question is not allowed to make purchase for a month and his offers are deemed invalid. Whichever option is selected by the member buyer company in the Turk Barter Foundation Definition Form, the commission rate in the Barter Auction Sales operation is accrued as 5 % Cash + VAT.
Turk Barter is not responsible against other users and 3rd parties for the attitudes of those buyers and sellers who fail to fulfill their obligations.
Turk Barter employees and franchisers and their employees are not allowed to participate in Barter Auction.
For the Barter Auction session to be valid, at least 3 members need to give an offer.
Turk Barter holds the right to change and revise Barter Auction rules. The revised rules are announced to members in the Barter Auction introduction page.
